Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley had its beginnings in 1944 with San Jose founder, Uncle Harry.
With character development and civic leadership as the cornerstone of the experience, the Club focused on capturing boys’ interests, improving their behavior, and increasing their personal expectations and goals.
A cause was born.
At the heart of every Club are the Programs staff members. These 270+ passionate individuals provide our youth with safe, fun, inclusive spaces where everyone is welcome, and impart positive values everyday that children and teens take with them into their communities and their futures. Club Programs staff include our unit & area directors, youth development professionals, college & career advisors, maintenance staff, and more.
Club Support staff work collaboratively to provide essential support for the organization’s overall functioning. From strategic planning to resource management, their diverse skills and expertise contribute to the foundation that empowers our Programs staff and enhances the impact we make in the lives of youth. Club Support staff include the leadership, human resources, finance, resource development, administration, and tech support departments.
